Nia Som is a stationery brand founded by Nia, an illustrator who finds inspiration in the little things that make life feel warmer, vibrant, and a little more whimsical.

After graduating from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia, in 2012, Nia began her journey in the world of wedding stationery alongside her Soms siblings. What started as a love for creating meaningful paper goods for everyone’s big days gradually evolved, and in 2020, Nia Som grew into an illustrated stationery brand filled with whimsical details, and fun designs. 

From heartfelt letters to everyday notes, each piece is created to celebrate the simple joy of putting pen to paper.

Over the years, Nia Som has had the pleasure of collaborating and working with brands such as PTPTN, PETKIT, Arcaiiv Official, Bayu Somerset, Kertas & Co, and Mutu Case on a variety of creative projects. Her work has also been featured at Tsutaya Bookstore locations across Malaysia.

At its heart, Nia Som is about finding magic in the everyday together with her boys, prominently featured in her works, Bo the black Ragdoll, and Baby, the white Bunny.
